Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are...That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. - John 17:11b, 21

A new thread On Athanasius worth reading
Last Friday evening, Paul Hoffer, posted a new thread (A Discourse on “The Discourse on the Holy Theotokos”), at SPES MEA CHRISTUS!
The material in the thread started out as a response to TurrettinFan’s Misquoting Athanasius, and became so much more. By blog standards, it is a very long post, but I would like to recommend to all that they take the time to carefully read through the entire post—I suspect that those who do so will be as equally impressed as I am. (Note: the post is only “Part 1” of Paul’s research on this subject; “Part 2” should be up soon.)
Grace and peace,
David
