Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are...That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. - John 17:11b, 21

Blog Notice
This Beachbum will be heading out on a vacation this afternoon, and will return to the beach April 27th (the Lord willing). Will try and check in while gone, but no promises…
>>Sounds like a good blog. I'll be following this in GoogleReader.>>
Thanks Nick…I am currently reading through the material that has been posted on the blogs that I follow over the past 10+ days while away. Once I have ‘caught up’, I am sure I will have a few things to say…
>> Why you keep referring to yourself as a "beach bum"?
You a surfer or something?>>
Me: Not a surfer (I can barely swim…uhhh, dog-paddle [grin]), but I live at the beach, and love the beach. The “bum” portion refers to the fact that I am retired.
